SLAB FOUNDATION REPAIR

Pilings are installed beneath the home's concrete foundation. Before installing each piling, a 3-4 foot hole will be dug for the installation of each piling. To ensure that pilings reach the point of refusal, the soil will be hydrated with a 12 foot water wand. A hydraulic ram is used to drive the pilings into the soil using 20-25 Tons of Pressure.

PIER & BEAM FOUNDATION REPAIR

Pier and Beam homes consist of concrete grade beams, wood beams, joists, and block & base. Repairs typically involve replacing rotted wood with pressure treated wood and re-shimming a tapering using steel shims.

ROOT BARRIERS

Installed between a trees root system and your home to keep tree roots from damaging a homes foundation.

04.

DRAINAGE CORRECTION

Is needed to address heaving of soils beneath a foundation as well as collecting water to ensure excess water is not puddling around or beneath a home. Abacus installs French Drains, Area Drains, Sump Pumps and Pits.

FOUNDATION INSPECTIONS

Regular maintenance can prevent foundation issues from occurring in the first place. The goal of a home foundation inspection is to help homeowners understand their exact situation, safety considerations, and possible solutions.
